A true teacher not only teaches her student but also bring positive changes in them and

also motivate them.I am blessed that I have been surrounded by so many teachers who

have helped me in every step of my life.And the  discussion about such  teachers would

be incomplete without mentioning a  very special person of my life who has been always

there for me in my thick and thin.She has  brought so many changes in me that

whatever I am today I owe a lot to her.Not only in the studies rather she had also helped

me to understand  what I want to achieve in life and what are my strengths and

weaknesses. The name of this special teacher is Mrs.Bhagwanti  Gupta.She is a

teacher all the students will love to have in their class. She doesn't only know what to

teach but also how to teach.Her communication skills,her way of  explanation  is

phenomenal.She does it so efficiently that even difficult topics become very easy to

us.Thanks to her incredible teaching skills that we all would agerly wait for her class as 

her  class was an  amalgam of knowledge, skills,general awareness and humor. Her

use of appropriate teaching aids helped in the proper understanding of the topic.In the 

class she connected with us like a friend and guide and we enjoyed every class of hers.

I haven't seen such a dynamic teacher in my life who at a time managed curricular and

co-curricular activities simultaneously.

 

Under her guidance we learnt aerobics and presented an electrifying performance.She managed everything, from steps,to practice to costumes.In class she used various techniques like Group discussions, Peer

teaching,Demonstration,Cooperative and Collaborative learning . 

 

Apart from her  English classes, we also loved her Guidance and Counselling class in

which she focused on the overall  development of the child and told us that even with

excellent teaching skills a child will be unable to understand the topic if  he or she has

some personal  issues or he is disturbed due to some reason.Students spend a lot of

time with us and so we must cater to their needs and  their expectations.It  is a duty of a

teacher to help the child in such situation and form a productive relationship with their

parents to help them out.This has helped me a lot as whenever I am in the class and I

come across a child who is disturbed I try to understand what is the problem with the

child and try to help her.

She also organised Inter- School Orientation Programmes in which, we visited various

schools and oriented  the students about the various communication skills. She is a

teacher every student wishes for.I am very blessed that I have spent some wonderful

moments with her. I thank her for teaching us the importance of Emotional Intelligence

in the class.

I know that wherever she will go, she will shine like a  star because she has all the

qualities a good teacher possesses. As a teacher I've learnt a lot from her and hope 

that she gets the best of all because she deserves everything good  in life.Her

contributions in the field of education will be remembered forever and she will be an

inspiration for all her students.

Bhagwanti Ma'am has been my teacher and a guide.  She is a teacher who has always

inspired and guided me like a parent and a good friend and has provided many

opportunities for the development of my communication skills. She not only helped to

build my confidence but also taught me to have a positive attitude towards learning. 

She always said that nothing is impossible and difficult. If you wish to learn, you can

learn anything anywhere without any stress.

Her teaching style always inspired me as she never lost her patience and always gave

opportunities to the students to express their feelings inside and outside the classroom.

She worked according to individual needs and this is what makes Ma'am such a special

teacher.  She has always ready to acknowledge the weaknesses of her students and

helped us to overcome our weaknesses and that's why she makes the classroom so

light and enjoyable and given us so many opportunities to explore and learn a variety of

skills and that's what she has worked so hard for.

For this, I always thank God that he gave a teacher like you for the right guidance in my

life.

For a student with Physics and Math, English lecture is an escape from formulas, theories and

equations English lectures are escape from the reality. It helps to expand the horizons of

imagination and interpretation. I started to see and do things differently after attending

Bhagwanti Maam’s class. I began taking her lessons in eleventh and twelfth grade. She is my

blessing in disguise who built me each day to help me become who I am today. Her lectures

were a dialogue and included many activities, videos to give an experience of the lessons. I came

to her class with a smile and zeal to learn something new every day. It was my happy place.

Initially I was very poor in spoken English and addressing a gathering was not my cup of tea.

 

However, her patience, love, intensive practice of reading and writing exercise helped me to be

confident and now I can address a crowd confidently without any fear. She always encouraged

me to present my thoughts without being afraid of being insulted. There were times when I asked

same question many times and ma’am never got angry, instead she always made it clear to me

with a smile with a new way every time. As a student I was pushed to learn and try out new

competencies, felt safe, supported, and gained a valuable feedback that helped me improve.

Ma’am made sure that whatever she taught had been set systematically in our minds just as

books are arranged in a library by giving innumerable questions covering every nook and corner

of the syllabus. Now that I am in college I have realized that her lessons were not limited to

books.

 

Gradually, she prepped me for my future and upcoming challenges.

From impulsive to being cavernous, from lacking confidence to being fearless. The tables have

turned and I have changed completely. Whatever skills I bear it is only because of Bhagwanti

Ma’am. I am grateful that I am the student of a teacher whose presence can make life beautiful

and happy.
